That Gaspe Rivers have some of the earliest runs of Atlantic Salmon in North America. Please understand these are not kelts returning to the ocean, but the biggest, brightest fish that our rivers have to offer. If you ask anyone who has fished here they will tell you that in Gaspe the biggest and brightest often means 30 pounds +. Quebec Sporting wants to offer you the opportunity to tangle with one of these monsters in spring river conditions. St-Jean's Sector 1 pools are holding quite a few fish... many new bright fish. Dartmouth River Sector 2 is still holding many fish, early July count gave over 500 fish (more coming in).
