We have located fresh fish on the St-Jean.... silver fish!! Saturday May 26, 2007 Fish On yesterday on Sector 1  Photo: St-Jean Sector 1 Saturday - May 26  Photo: St-Jean River, May 8, 2007  Sector 1: Sector 1 offers fishing for 8 angler(only)/day. There are at least 15 major (identified) pools to fish and other interesting "pot holes" to explore (either by canoe or wading). Some pools on the St-Jean hold fish all season!! The St-Jean is considered to be one the 10 best salmon rivers in Qu�bec. A well dressed "Dry" on these and crystal clear waters...will certainly produce action!! Sector 2: Sector 2 offers fishing for 2 anglers(only)/day. This excellent stretch of water (very productive in June to mid-July) is accessible only by canoe. Wet fly in early weeks of June and then both dry and wet later in the season. This sector offers 7 beautiful pools to discover. |
